Mr. Karti Sandilya
Retired Country Representative of Asian Development Bank, USA.
Karti Sandilya had a long career with the Asian Development Bank where he led the development of ADB’s Poverty Reduction Strategy and coordinated an ADB-wide implementation of the strategy. Prior to his career in ADB, he held several posts within the Indian government including diplomatic assignments in Buenos Aires, Santiago, Geneva and Dhaka. He was also Under Secretary and Director in the Indian Ministry of Commerce and Director and Joint Secretary in the Ministry of Finance.
Mr. M.V. Subbiah
Former Chairman of Murugappa Group of Companies, Chennai.
M.V. Subbiah is the former Chairman and COO of the Murugappa Group of Companies. He has won several awards including the National HRD Award for his contributions to human resources development and the JRD Tata Corporate Leadership Award. Recently he has worked both academically and in practice on professionalizing family owned businesses in India.
Dr. Marti G. Subrahmanyam
Stern School of Business New York University, USA.
Marti Subrahmanyam is the Charles E. Merrill Professor of Finance and Economics at the Stern School of Business at New York University. He has published extensively on various topics relating to capital markets and is editor of a number of academic journals. He has been a consultant to a number of major investment banks and other financial institutions and presently holds board positions with various companies including Infosys Technologies and ICICI Bank. He holds a B.Tech from IIT, Madras, a post graduate diploma in Business Administration from IIM, Ahmedabad and a Ph.D. from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
Madura is saddened by the loss of its Advisory Board member Dr. C.K Prahalad, renowned researcher and management consultant and author of “The Fortune at the Bottom of the Pyramid: Eradicating Poverty through Profits.”
