Micromarkets - Access to markets
Rural entrepreneurs often have difficulty getting the exposure they need to be successful. We have created various methods to help these business owners access new markets and learn about new opportunities and products. Conversely these communication channels allow us to connect mainstream companies with our networks, giving them the ability to present their products and services to our rural members. This in turn creates access to market information for our members. Our various communication channels are outlined below:
- Classifieds: customized regional editions that are circulated to 4,00,000 households altogether.
- Seidhi Malar: monthly newsletter built largely of SHG member contributions
- Regional Tradeshows: Showcases of SHG product offerings in various regional hubs.
- Business Database: A growing directory of locations of rural businesses to facilitate rural urban partnerships.
- Digital Training Centers: 160 branch locations equipped with audiovisual equipment for digital training.
- Monthly Video Malar: A half hour news monthly news program that covers company news, best practices, opportunities and success stories shown at our training centers.
